Checklist of Documents Required for Education Loan

TFL Education Loans

TFL offers Education Loans for students aspiring to study in India or abroad. With loans starting from Rs. 50,000 at attractive interest rates, students can pursue their dreams without financial barriers.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for an Education Loan, students must meet the following requirements:

Be an Indian Citizen.
Have secured at least 50% marks in HSC (10+2) and Graduation.
Have obtained admission to career-oriented courses such as Medicine, Engineering, Management, etc., at graduate or post-graduate levels.
Have secured admission through an entrance test or merit-based selection process post-completion of HSC (10+2).

Documents for Education Loan for all other Individuals

KYC documents Pass Book / Bank Statement of last 6 months Optional – Guarantor Form Copy of admission letter of the Institute along with fees schedule Mark sheets / passing certificates of S.S.C., H.S.C, Degree courses

Documents required for first disbursement documents required for the first disbursement

Demand letter from the college or university
Loan agreement signed by the applicant and co-applicants
Sanction letter signed by the applicant and co-applicants
Disbursement request form
Receipts of margin money paid to the college/university, along with bank statements showing the transaction, signed by the applicant and co-applicants
Documents for collateral security (if applicable)
Form A2 signed by the applicant or co-applicants (for overseas institutes)

Documents required for subsequent disbursement

Demand letter from the college or university
Disbursement request form signed by the applicant and co-applicants
Receipts of margin money paid to the college/university, along with bank statements showing the transaction
Exam progress report, mark sheet, or bonafide certificate (any one)
Form A2 signed by the applicant or co-applicants (for overseas institutes)

File Charges: ₹3,780 (Security amount)

₹3,000 will be refunded with the loan amount
Documentary fees: ₹780 (non-refundable)

Rate of Interest: 6.25% per annum
